1. Why use Aloeride® in comparison to other aloe vera products?
The company that makes Aloeride grows Aloe Vera Barbadensis Miller under textbook ideal circumstances and process their aloe vera leaves better, resulting in both more and better working ingredients (view independent laboratory tests) which is the reason why Aloeride® aloe vera pills work quicker and better. This is where the 100% pure aloe vera comes from.
2. Does Aloeride® interact with prescription drugs?
There is no known drug interaction in the sense of Aloeride® aloe vera pills affecting serum half-time or having direct interaction. Aloeride® taken either alone or in combination with oral hypoglycaemic drugs may lower blood sugar in people with type I and type II (non-insulin-dependent) diabetes mellitus, which is why in our product insert we advise people to continue routine blood glucose monitoring.
3. Is it possible to overdose on Aloeride®?
Once all polysaccharide receptor sites in the digestive tract have been saturated by the aloe sugars, any remaining dosage simply passes through the alimentary canal and does no harm. The dosage to achieve this limit is approximately 500mg and equates to 3 Aloeride® aloe vera pills for adults (possibly 4 should someone have more receptor sites). Our youngest user was less than 1 year old and it is very reassuring to know that, even in such a small child, it is impossible to overdose, what doesn't bind to the child's receptor sites simply leaves his/her alimentary canal.
4. Is Aloeride® certified by the International Aloe Science Council?
Yes, Aloeride® is certified by the International Aloe Science Council, but much more important than our I.A.S.C. accreditation, are Aloeride®'s exemplary independent laboratory results and our pharmaceutical GMP (classified as grade D (EU grade) / class 100,000 (US class Federal Standard 209E) / ISO 8).
5. Does Aloeride® contain Manapol®?
Yes Aloeride® contains these molecules. Manapol® is a product made by Carrington Laboratories in the USA and Manapol® powder consists of roughly 25% acetylated mannans, 25% pectins, 25% methylcellulose, and 25% calcium malate.
6. Can I use Aloeride® while on a Specific Carbohydrate Diet?
Yes you can, and more to the point, you should use Aloeride® when on the SCD. Research (Bland 1985) shows beyond a shadow of doubt that it will improve your bacterial flora, it will reduce your gut permeability, it will reduce stool specific gravity and it will improve the gut pH which is a favourable environment for good bacteria growth within double fermented yoghurt or Probion® Daily.
7. How old does one have to be to use Aloeride®?
William Baxter had multiple problems since he was 2 weeks old, among which problematic feeding, projectile vomiting and multiple aversions. Medication helped a little and feeding via a stoma was tolerated only in tiny helpings. He was failing to thrive and was not even 1 year old when he started on Aloeride® aloe vera pills. "William has used Aloeride® for 5 months now and from day 1 it was obvious that he became a different child. We are really very happy". The dosage of Aloeride® used for this baby was half the pill's powder twice a day. It should be noted that taking Aloeride® pills at this age is of course quite unusual but, because of the absence of additives or laxative anthraquinones, Aloeride® was a perfectly safe option that clearly made a difference.
